Zola

Zola, Burnese Mountain Dog

I love when people choose to vacation on Prince Edward Island. I want people to experience how incredible it is here. It’s a very dog-friendly place to be. I was thrilled and flattered when Claire contacted me from Quebec to set up a photo session with her wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog Zola. She told me she had chosen to vacation on PEI based on having a photo session with me. I was so incredibly flattered. Wow, how nice is that! So we booked the session and met up and had a great time on the beach. Zola was such a sweetheart. Everyone loves BMDs! You’ll see from the photos that Zola has a brace on his leg. Claire gets constantly by people asking what happened and she has to tell the story over and over. I never thought about it but that would get fairly exhausting after a while, eh? LOL. He has paralysis and so they did everything they could do to take care of it, including having a special brace custom made, and Zola’s happy as can be. Dog sessions are always so much fun for everyone. Lots of smiling, laughter and wagging going on. I love watching the relationship between a dog and their person and how much love there is between them. It’s really an incredible relationship. Merci Zola et Claire!

WE ARE ALL TREATY PEOPLE.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
