Winter on PEI

A Blustery Winter Day on PEI

Winter on PEI

No run club for me today. I headed out but decided to turn back because things are getting worse out there and it’s just plain stupid to be out driving on a blustery winter day on PEI. Now, running in it is another story. Running in it is no problem. It’s actually a lot of fun. In any case I bailed on the idea and came back home. I absolutely love living in the country in the winter and being safe and warm at home during winter storms. From my spot on the sofa I look out at the big barn and as always I was compelled to get my camera. It is snowing sideways. Here’s the view from our kitchen. Looks like a gingerbread and movies day. Life is sweet.

WE ARE ALL TREATY PEOPLE.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
