Beach Picnic

Some images from our beach picnic shoot for Canada’s Food Island. The client could only coordinate this shoot for 12:00 noon. Yes, the worst time to shoot on a bright sunny August day on the beach. But sometimes you just have to deal with the parameters. Pretty near ever single person at the beach stopped to gawk at our vintage, mint condition 1966 Volkswagen Beetle. There was a crowd of people just out of frame the whole time.

We are all Treaty People.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
