Every once and a while I take on a gig that is not really what I normally do. Now it’s never so far out there that I don’t know if I can do it. I know I can do it, but I never want to risk doing a mediocre job because it’s not my specialty. That’s the thing.
A couple of weeks ago I was hired to shoot for the Canadian Foundation for Health Improvement at the National Health Leadership Conference at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre. I ended up really liking it a lot. I was aiming to tell the story of being there and I’m pleased with the results.
But why did they ask me? I do not have any work like this on my website. The client said, “We saw your work and we thought, if you can shoot food like you do, you can shoot anything.” Wow thank you for that and for the opportunity. I would definitely do it again. Here are just a few of the shots from the CFHI’s three workshops.
