The last year has been filled with so many music shoots and I’ve been loving every minute of it! I grew up in a musical family so this is where I feel most comfortable, most at home, happy. I stopped playing the fiddle when photography started taking over and I miss it, a lot.
Combining my passions for photography and music is a dream come true.
I was so so happy when Cynthia MacLeod contacted me to shoot a house party! It was so much fun!
One thing about Cynthia’s playing (besides being completely amazing) is she smiles. She is always smiling! Do you know how hard that is??? Most fiddlers look like they are concentrating, or lost in the music. I purse my lips concentrating to the point where I had to play in front of a mirror to try and conquer it. But Cynthia? She’s all smiles and having a great time, and so is everyone around her.
Cynthia’s ‘happy’ is infectious and I can’t wait to see her again. It was so much fun.
There was amazing music, Chef Robert Pendergast cooked up some phenomenal food, there was dancing, singing and a campfire by the sea. As well as laughter and friendship all around. It doesn’t get better that that.
Check out all of the fun at PEI Kitchen Parties by Cynthia MacLeod.
