This is Darcy; a Catahoula/Lab mix. I had never heard of a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog… but I like em! And of course she’s a lab mix so she’s awesome, right? Her owners got her at the Catahoula Rescue near Ottawa and she is such a sweetheart! Named her after Irish/Canadian politician, journalist, poet, historian and father of confederation D’Arcy McGee, as well as Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Great name! Love it! Okay so I now officially want a puppy.
Fantastic Heather! These are great!
She’s beautiful! Look at the expression in her eyes… She’s so trusting of you… little does she know! lol. Gorgeous, love the wood texture behind (the photo of her lying down with the wood fence behind). Are you getting a new puppy?!
I love the pictures of Darcy. She is a beatiful dog but I am predigest as we have her twin brother living with us. If you want to see a picture email me I WOULD LOVE TO SEND YOU ONE.
I love the last one! Great expression and composition.
Last week I took some images from some nice dogs in a little village I was visiting for my photo project. Have a look and tell me what you think? Its hard to get them sit still ;-)

Keep up the good work, love looking at them.

Great shots! What a beautiful dog. I look the look and texture of the “grassy” background shots – it really makes Darcy pop!
