Beautiful pet pillows. This year we lost two of our family pets. During a marketing strategy meeting with my friend Leigh Anne Matthews of Ella’s Cottage, I had an epiphany; pet pillows. Leigh Anne is a talented interior decorator and seamstress and I wanted her to make something special in memory of our dog Charlotte. During the time she was making my pillow we lost our miniature horse May. When Leigh Anne handed me the bag with my pillow in it, there was a pillow for May in the bag as well. I was overjoyed to say the least. I am so happy to have something special to remember them. A very personal and thoughtful item, they are also a beautiful decorative piece for our country home.

These personalized cushion covers are a wonderful way to memorialize you favorite pet, current or past. It also makes a very thoughtful gift. Cover is made of a heavy cotton canvas material. Silhouettes and name are heat set and machine sewn using quilting cotton. Pillow is piped in coordinating material. Indicate the name you would like to see and whether it should be in lower case or upper case letters. Back of cushion has a hidden zipper closure for ease of cleaning.
Leigh Anne Matthews is the creator of Ella’s Cottage. She started sewing in her 7th grade home economics class, and has used her stellar straight line sewing skills sporadically throughout her teens and early twenties. In her late twenties she found the courage to branch out and make some curtains and pillows. It was during her second pregnancy that her love of sewing really broke through. While shopping for her second daughter, she saw dozens of adorable items and started to think “I could make those”. So she did, and people began to notice and the orders started flowing in. Before she knew it she was sewing daily, fillings naps and evenings with cutting, ironing and stitching. It truly is something that she loves and is passionate about. And I want to share her talent with you.
