Introducing Gigi-Boo the newest member of our pack. After having photographed my friend Leah’s 2 Bouviers, and Brian’s 2 Bouvs, I really started liking this breed. They are incredibly funny dogs. So here is our new 18 month old Bouv who came to us as Gigi and after much consideration will be Gigi-Boo. When you adopt an adult dog it’s a little like having a stranger in the house at first. So we are still adjusting and trying to find balance for the new dog, the old dogs, the horse, and most important, the children. Having dogs is a great way to teach my girls to be leaders and that’s the plan with Gigi-Boo. She’s a very big pup who likes to herd and nip when she plays. I have to make sure she is very well exercised and disciplined. So I have been running with her on the rail trail in the morning and walking the pack. She is a wonderful and very good-natured dog and I must say that her former owners did a wonderful job!

She is beautiful Heather. Can’t wait to see her against that barn!
Hi, Heather,
Your place looks wonderful; true, beautiful country at its finest! I just love Gigi-boo; Cindy and I will have to make a trip up to groom her for you! Just let us know….
Welcome to the Island!
I am Sharon & Bob Waite’s sister-in-law and live down the road in Hampshire. My eyes welled up when I saw the beautiful photos of your Bouv. We had one, “Babe”, for 11 years and loved her to death. She came from Ontario and her registered name was BronLucy’s Babe.
Some day I would love to drop by to see Gigi-Boo.
I am also interested in your photography. Do you do family portraits? If so, what is your fee schedule?
Thanks.
Ellen
Hi Ellen. C’mon over. It would be great to meet you and chat all things Bouv. She’s our first and is quite a character. My rates are on my site at: blog.heatherogg.com. There are people shots there too. Cheers!
