Home Office

I finally painted my home office. It’s not quite finished, but I am a minimalist so that’s okay because the less the better (with the exception of as many photography books as possible of course).

We live in an old farmhouse so this is as trendy as it’s going to get.

I’m pretty happy with it. I like to get up early and work before the family gets up. So I get up at 5am and start working until about noon. I have done that for years. Although I’d love to have a bigger space, I’m really happy with what I have. And I have my little bird sanctuary set up right outside the window and I’m loving that. I was feeling inspired so I had a little fun photographing it David Hockney style. Well, not quite, but you get the picture.

We are all Treaty People.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
