There is definitely a huge connection between food and love, and Valentine’s Day and chocolate. I love photographing food, but I am by no means good at cooking. I’m a photographer, I rely on chefs and food stylists, and have a husband who is really great at cooking and baking. I have a huge appreciation for the culinary arts. I do have some fun baking though and so this morning I made yummy chocolate cupcakes for my family for Valentine’s Day to show them how much I love them. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Chocolate Frosting Recipe
Makes 2 cups
1/2 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir melted butter and cocoa powder in a bowl until evenly mixed. Add confectioners’ sugar and milk; beat until smooth and easily spread. Stir in vanilla extract.
