Photographing on White

Someone recently asked me if I like photographing on white and I understand why. I’ve got a lot of that barn-wood-thing going on. My clients like it and they ask for it. I like it too, but I also like whites. A large part of my home decor is whites, and when it comes to food photography I love that whole Donna Hay look a lot. I’ve been in the mood for a white shoot for a while now, so here’s a simple shoot with minimal styling and a bunch of different shots of yummy honey glaze donuts. A big thank you to my family for their patience, and yes you can eat them now!

We are all Treaty People.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
