I love cows. They are so sweet and smart. Photographing them is always such a wonderful experience. Such sweet moo moos.
Here are a few pics from our day photographing these lovely beasts for Food Island Partnership and the PEI Department of Agriculture, with beef producer Ashley Wood, who also loves cows. I really enjoy getting to meet our farmers and to see how dedicated they are and the good life and care they give their animals. These cows are happy and friendly. They didn’t hesitate to come right up to us. This is not mass farming. This is the family farm.
