Our client Royal Star Foods is off to the Boston Seafood Show again on March 16 to 18, now known as the Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America. It is the largest seafood trade event in North America. The event attracts over 19,000 buyers and suppliers of fresh, frozen, packaged and value-added seafood products, equipment, and services. Attendees travel from more than 100 countries to do business at the exposition. No other event in North America provides seafood professionals with direct access to qualified buyers and suppliers representing all areas of the seafood industry.
TechnoMedia is re-branding the creative for all of the marketing collateral which included new photography of their lobster products. Our goal was to present this high quality lobster, in a series of images representing the stage from right off the boat to where the consumer or chef would begin working with the product, ready for the magic to begin.
We had a great 4-day photo shoot photographing 14 lobster products which allowed for a higher production value, using different set ups and lighting for each shot. We used natural light, which I shoot the majority of my food photography in because it’s the best light there is, and simulates the true experience of eating to the viewer. Sounds easy, eh? The truth is food photography is a lot of very detailed work, but it’s incredibly rewarding.
The final images are being used as large format backdrops for the Royal Star Foods trade show booth, product sheet kits, and a new website is on the way.
