Photography, film, music, paintings, decor, culinary, poetry, dance, theatre and on and on, I love art and I truly believe the arts are of huge importance to us all. As my dear friend, artist/painter Susan Pepler says; Art changes everything!
Susan and I met in college where it was clearly obvious that she was on a whole different level, such a huge talent. I have always been a huge fan of her work. If I had to pick one thing I love most about Susan’s work it’s her ability to paint light. As a photographer, I am obsessed with light and so for me, Susan’s paintings are phenomenal.
I was over-the-moon yesterday when I received my latest Pepler Paintings. I had my eye on these for a while and am so happy. Maybe it’s the foodie in me, or that my girls and I have so many memories making cupcakes together, or that they are so different from anything else. I just love them. Thank you Susan!
