The Studio: Before

Published July 26, 2009 by Heather Ogg in Personal

Here are some ‘before’ photos of what will one day be our photography studio-cottage. We had originally planned on turning our big barn into  a studio and spent a lot of time trying to figure out the details. Among other things, the barn roof leaks, the loft is full of really old hay that I can’t seem to get rid of easily and the place still kind of creeps me out a little. So today I started thinking about the cottage and though I’d take a good look around. Although it’s not as big as the barn, it’s big enough. The renovations would be much less work and  I have a bunch of design ideas. I really think I’m going to love it actually. Enjoy!

Oh man…I am practically salivating with the idea of renovating an old barn. You SOOOO lucky, lady! =)

I love those sliding doors! The place looks amazing as is (but I guess a little insulation doesn’t hurt). How much are you going to salvage?
