It’s November and we’re at the beach. I can’t believe it. Anyone who knows me knows that Labs are my very favorite breed and we happened to run into a beautiful Lab on the beach. Here is the very gorgeous Trapper John McIntyre, aka Trapper, (we grew up watching M*A*S*H so we are loving the name), celebrating his first birthday at Cavendish Beach. What could a Labrador possibly love more than to get to run in the surf, eh? That’s one lucky dog. The funny part of this day, was Trapper’s owners just happened to be close friends of a friend of mine. And on top of that one of the owners we met is a vet, who has become my vet. Only on PEI.
Heather it was so wonderful to meet you today. My mother, Trapper’s owner, was just thrilled to meet you and is so excited to see these pictures once she gets access to high speed. She is going to love them because they are beautiful! He looks so much more mature than he even is though :)
What a gorgeous dog! Lovely work as usual Heather! Trapper’s human will be pleased.
Colours are gorgeous on these shots! I love the name too. I was expecting to see some guy in these shots when I read the post title. lol! I saw the dog and I was like, “where’s the dude?”. Wow, these shots at the beach are incredible. Heather, you’re so worth it. Coffee table book, coffee table book, coffee table book!!!
Beautiful Lab – English? Looks like my Babe, stocky & gorgeous =)
Hi Heather & Derek,
Great photos. We visited PEI a few years ago and took photos right on the spots you took of the Remembrance Day Memorial.
Love your lab…love your island Is it ok to take our lab on the beachs.
