“For is there any practice less selfish, any labour less alienated, any time less wasted,
than preparing something delicious and nourishing for people you love?”
~ Michael Pollan, Cooked

Gee now I feel kind of guilty that I don’t cook…  Lucky for us my husband is awesome in the kitchen. I agree wholeheartedly with Michael Pollan. Most of us are crazy busy these days. Too busy really. So on weekends I try to take the time to make a little something with my kids. It’s nothing fancy, just real quality time. I highly recommend it. Seems weekends were made for family… and pancakes. Have a great weekend!

We are all Treaty People.

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
