Every New Year I resolve to make it a year of loving kindness. So what better way to ring in the new year then to make my first post of 2018 about a very loving and kind person.
I was out to visit my friend Yogi during the holidays. She is one of the smartest, strongest and kindest women I know. Always smiling and grateful despite the situation. She is an educated woman of science running a horse sanctuary for many years. She uses the Herd to work with adults and children, people with disabilities, corrections community services, and the veterinary college students and believes horses can be life changing. So during my visit, in her little apartment above the barn, from where I was sitting I saw this photo begging to be taken. I love photographing her.
2018 is going to be a year of portraiture for me. I plan to concentrate on getting to some personal projects I have put on the back burner for far too long.
One of my resolutions was to donate a new website to Yogi’s Handibear Hills Horse Sanctuary Inc. Thank You to my tribe at TechnoMedia for donating the hosting. I am hoping that the new website will bring awareness to the Sanctuary and encourage generosity in consideration to Yogi for being so loving and kind to so many all these years.
